Life
at River Ridge Farm
is dramatically different from the way most people spend their
day. It is at once
an
adventure that hearkens of times past and an island of peace and quiet
in
a hurried world.
The sight of horses
brings a smile to your face and thoughts of a time when life was much
slower and simpler.
Located
on the banks of
the Clinch River below Norris Dam and Norris Lake, River Ridge Farm
offers a variety of
experiences:
- You can enjoy a picnic and go fishing.
- Join one of our draft horse pulled wagon tours to see
the farm, fall
colors, wild flowers, moonlit nights, or go caroling.
- Guided horseback trail rides.
- While you are here take advantage of opportunities
to
meet farm
animals.
- There are also facilities for a rustic retreat for
family
reunions, company or church cookouts or other group
meetings.
We are
located in Anderson County, 30 minutes
North of Knoxville, Knox
County and just 3 miles from exit 122 of I-75 (same exit as the
Museum of Appalachia). Click here for
directions.
