Nostalgia Days

Spring Flower Tour

The 2-hour ride takes you across the ridge with a view of the Cumberlands and the Clinch River Valley down to the river and along its banks.  Cost: $90.00.

The 4-hour ride with lunch or afternoon snack covers the same area but allows time for the snack and for a stroll along the river and bluff.  Cost: $150.00 plus cost for a sandwich, chips, cookie and fruit, soft drink or bottled water for each passenger.

We also offer a wagon ride up River Road from the farm to Miller Island. 4 hours with lunch or afternoon snack. 
Cost: $150.00 plus cost for a sandwich, chips, cookie and fruit, soft drink or bottled water for each passenger.  Rides are available year round.  Please call ahead.

Full Moon Moonlight Tour

The full moon silvers the landscape, highlighting the mists in the Clinch River Valley and outlining the mountains and ridgetops. You marvel at the beauty of the landscape as we ride through our hayfield and pasture on the top of River Ridge with owls hooting and maybe a coyote serenading the moon as the horses' harness chains jingle gently in the night. On a clear night you see from the Cumberland Mountains to the Smokies and the end of Clinch Mountain.

We will be offering Horse Drawn Moonlight Tours in September, October, November and December during the full moon. The tours will start nightly at 7:30 p.m., except on Wednesday when they will start at 9 p.m. For the cool months dress warmly and we will provide wool blankets for your lap. There will be hot chocolate and a camp fire afterwards to warm your fingers and toes.

Please call for reservations.  The ride will be about 20 minutes. The cost is $4.00 per person with children up to age 5, sitting on an adult's lap, for free. The tours will be cancelled if it is raining or snowing. See our home page for dates.

Dark of the Moon Tour and Lightning Bug Tour
Similar to Full Moon Tour but at different times. Call for details.

Caroling Tour

How long has it been since you have been Christmas Caroling? And did you ever carol from the bed of a horse drawn wagon? Well here is your chance! !!!!No Talent Necessary!!!!

In December just before and after Christmas we will have Caroling Tours on the farm. The tours will start nightly at dusk and continue until 9 PM.  We will have hot chocolate and a camp fire to warm you up afterwards. 

Please call for reservations.  The ride will be about 20 minutes. The cost is $4.00 per person with children up to age 5, sitting on an adult's lap, for free. If it is raining or snowing we will move the ride and hot chocolate afterwards to the huge Sport Horse Center Arena nearby. See our home page for dates and a link to Sport HorseCenterArena.com.

Daily Rides

Wagon rides at the farm per group or individual are:

• $50.00 for the first hour.
• $40.00 for each additional hour up to three
• $150.00/4 hours.
• $300.00/8 hours.

Our wagon holds 8 people but the group may be of any size.
Rides are available all year.  Please call ahead as early as possible.

You must sign a waiver of liability in order to participate in wagon rides or other equestrian or farm activities.  To get a copy of the waiver send a blank email to wagonride@riverridgefarmtn.com or you can phone or email us for a copy.  For safety's sake we reserve the right to refuse a ride to anyone who in our judgment alone exhibits signs of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs or who exhibits unsafe behavior.
